Nissan’s global production in March increased 49.7% from a year earlier.
- Production in and outside Japan surpassed year-earlier results by 24.7% and 56.4%, respectively. April 2020 - March 2021Nissan’s global production for the April 2020-March 2021 period declined 17.1% from a year earlier.
- Production in and outside Japan declined 31.8% and 14.2% from a year-earlier, respectively.
- Production in China surpassed year-earlier results by 16.3%, setting a record for the April – March period.

- Sales outside Japan declined 12.6% from the year earlier. Sales in China surpassed year-earlier results by 13.7%, setting a record for the April – March period.
